Vedat Ulgen is a seasoned executive, lead designer, and an investor who is a believer in purposeful leadership, sustainable design, and fostering a culture of opportunity. He was born in the US and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. He started college by attending Lynn University in Florida, where he studied business and advertising followed by an immediate acceptance with a merit scholarship from Pratt Institute of Design by the end of his freshman year at Lynn.
Fueled by his dad’s creativity and his mom’s entrepreneurial spirit, Vedat found himself forming companies.Currently holding an executive position of his main ventures- Thislexik, HBB Ventures/Logistics & Aileron CNC, With his ability to distill the complex projects into simple yet innovative concepts that are quickly understood make him an exceptional resource in his field.
The Thislexik name is a reference to his own dyslexia, which he embraces as a gift that allows him to see the world from unique perspectives.
